Let’s face it, everyone should have at least one good sexy undergarment get up. For trans masculine and butchies alike, a really nice pair of designer boxers can go a long way. You can march into pretty much any store these days and find yourself along side a few gay men picking out form fitting undies-undies that will fit! However, for trans feminine folks, the logistics of a bra and panties set might be more complex.

This new line is a great step in the right direction. I am no lingerie expert but from what I have seen, this stuff is not only practical it’s cute! If you have different feedback on these aesthetics, please drop a comment or two. I am dying to know what people think!

Happy undressing to you!

Chart to top all charts.

Chart to top all charts. :
If you were always wondering what those little cartoon shapes on your clothing tags were, here you go.

I recently wore a palate much like this to work. A colleague said “whoa, I can’t deal with all of that spring. Calm down”. I simply said, “I am seasonally appropriate!”. She then implied that the ankle-length black dress she was wearing was just as appropriate (if not more so).

It was not. Get those pastels and light tones out, folks. Have some fun with those color combos! There’s no problem with darks in spring but put a splash or two in there! The sun is out, let us see it in your steps!

Tonight, Chicago is host to one of my favorite Feminist writers,...

Tonight, Chicago is host to one of my favorite Feminist writers, performers, and artists: Michelle Tea. I had the honor of making her acquaintance at an academic conference many years ago. Upon meeting her, one amazing detail about her remains in my mind: her beautifully bizarre style. For many queer folx, style is not just making a statement, it’s making a different one—a queer one. Michelle Tea does just this. She will be performing in Chicago tonight, under her stage name, “Sister Spit”, at The Wicker Park Arts Center. After words, you can see what her dancing shoes look like when DJ Black Gold will be spinning at the After Party at Beauty Bar.

Let's Get this Fashion Party Started

Although my life revolves around music, TV/Film, pop culture, and all things LGBT justice related, the common thread through them all is: style, image, & fashion. For the purposes of my Tumblr life, I will be posting all things related to the aforementioned fashion. I will try my best not to dwell on the fashion victimyness of the world, but rather offer you some awesome alternatives to ending up in the fashion slumps/dumps. As a queer fashionista myself, I hope to help the style depraved find their own image and voice in the world of fashion! Feel free to send me any questions that you might have on these topics! Women and queer and trans folx are encouraged to come forth!
